Blessing

Dear Fellow Dreamer,

With this letter, I’m celebrating two months of Awakening Wonder on Substack. Thank you for being here. The hearts and lovely comments and emails mean so much. If you’re responding to my mailings in the Substack app, feel an extra hug of thanks. No matter where you’re reading this, I’m grateful for our connection.

Today’s poem appears in Issue 04 of the Canadian literary magazine flo.

May you be a river—
give yourself.

May you be a prayer:
pottery cracked
whole.

May you be night
to the moon.

May you be puckered
lips lush
labia, fire flowers
eggs.

May you dance
May you dance
May you dance

May you hold the paradox
without explaining,
with golden bees.

May you be my fate
sweet turn
cave galaxy.

May you tornado
Moon Mother—
net night,
spin delta
demons,

Holy honey
on my lips.
