What an honour and pleasure it was to be part of the SQUID Literary & Arts magazine launch last Saturday night in Montréal. Our shared experience gave us the opportunity to listen to different voices and see into the visions of various creative risk takers, both established and emerging. I was struck by a sense of timelessness at the gathering. And by the beauty inherent in creatives coming together to start a magazine.
In the arts, there is never a logical time to begin a new venture. And that’s only one of the many reasons to do it now.
